Distributor Announcement 2006 sees significant changes for JO-EL Electric. For the last 6 years, JO-EL has operated autonomously within Schneider Electric. However, in this fast-paced market, organisations need to be leaner and more dynamic, shifting with the ever-changing trends of the market. With this in mind, JO-EL and Schneider have conducted a review of the JO-EL business with the aim of consolidating and capitalising on any synergies with Schneider. It has been concluded that merging the JO-EL business into the Schneider operation will be the most effective means of building firm foundations for future business. During the 2nd Quarter of 2006, JO-EL relocated to the Schneider Head Office in Telford, Shropshire. The Thorsman and Jo-Jo brands are an ideal fit to integrate with Schneider Electric. By combining Schneider's Square D consumer units and Clipsal accessories with the Fixings and Electrical products from Thorsman and JoJo, the distributor can now benefit from a comprehensive offer from a single source. Schneider Electric will maintain a separate sales force, sales office and distributor policy for JO-EL.
